Join Samantha Williams-Chapelsky for this plein air workshop onsite in Ireland. Students will learn colour mixing, textured paint application methods, landscape simplification and how to approach plein air.

This workshop is recommended for students with some acrylic experience. As an added bonus, students will be provided with their own paint kits on site! 

About Samantha Williams-Chapelsky

Samantha Williams-Chapelsky is a Canadian visual artist and instructor known for her expressive, landscape-driven work rooted in a deep connection to place.

Working primarily in acrylic and oil, Samantha brings a bold, intuitive approach to capturing light, atmosphere, and movement in the natural world. Her plein air practice is central to her creative process—she believes that painting outdoors fosters a direct, unfiltered relationship with the land and invites artists to respond to the environment with immediacy and authenticity.

With over a decade of professional experience, Samantha has exhibited across Canada, served as a brand ambassador and educator for major art material companies, and taught hundreds of students through workshops, lectures, and retreats. Her teaching style blends technical guidance with encouragement to explore personal voice, making her sessions welcoming, insightful, and inspiring for artists of all levels.
