A sunny day in the Wild West.. The Old Convent Campus.
Facilities
The Old Convent has been transformed into the new Mulranny Art School, a bright welcoming space overlooking Clew Bay. The large renovated classroom offers inspiring views, while the former chapel, with its beautiful acoustics, now hosts musical events and creative gatherings.
Retreat participants stay in charming cottages and houses within walking distance of the school. Each guest enjoys a private room, most with ensuite bathrooms, ensuring both comfort and quiet.
Delicious vegetarian meals and special dietary requests are happily accommodated, with food lovingly prepared by village hosts, local restaurants, and nearby guesthouses.
Nestled along Ireland’s wild Atlantic coast, the village of Mulranny is small but full of charm. You’ll find a cozy grocery store, a post office, three friendly pubs, and a handful of seasonal cafés, along with the welcoming Mulranny Park Hotel and Leisure Centre.
Wander along scenic coastal paths or rent a bike and set out on the Great Western Greenway, which runs right behind the village. It’s the perfect way to take in the rolling hills, sea views, and tranquil beauty that make Mulranny such an inspiring place to slow down and create.
